Christmas smart !

So as it’s getting tougher and money is thigh I decided to do a little post on Christmas party dressing up from my own wardrobe and it will hopefully give you ideas!

I am just tired of this habit of buying a new dress every celebration comes up or a Christmas party is on the arisen.

So I decided it’s much nicer to save the money and buying everyone nice Christmas presents rather than worn it once glitter dress (which I do have in my wardrobe, but in my defense it was on sale…I know it’s not proving the point).

Anyway here are the photos of me trying on some of my dresses and shoes..

This a All Saints dress I bought two summers ago in the sale. It’s actually the only strapless dress I have.

I am also wearing my Diane Von Furstenberg shoes I got at the sample sale.

I like this look because it is simple and you can dress it up with lots of jewelry and some red lips bien sure!

I am still wearing the same shoes and dress but I added my trusted peplum vintage jacket.

This one I found it in Mary Portas “mary’s living & giving shop” that she did for Save the Children charity. It is on 177 Westbourne Grove London W11 2SB.

It’s a very sweet John Rocha short sleeve peplum jacket.

This is my very special mini dress from Pucci… My mom gave it to me for Christmas two years ago. I am very blessed that mom works in fashion and has obviously amazing taste! It’s a very good dress to wear to parties in winter as you not so freezing… well your legs are.

My shoes here are my first ever pair of Louboutin. You can’t really see them, I am wearing them in the next photo. I bought them in a small second hand shop in Notting hill. I got them for amazing price of £80! can you believe it!

This is my red silk Diane Von Furstenberg dress I got at the sample sale. It’s very simple but elegant. You can see my Louboutin here that mentioned earlier. The heel and platform is recovered of black lace and the straps are satin. I love this pair, but I can’t really walk or dance at all in these.

So as you guessed I like quite simple elegant dress but will add glamour with some extravagant jewelry and some chic makeup and will take out my sparkly gold Anya Hindmarch clutch I won few month ago. Sorted!

I hopefully gave you some ideas, and I am now tempted to do a beauty post this weekend on Party make up ideas and maybe hair why not?

Ps: Returned the Gold jacket, as I felt too much like David Bowie, and felt didn’t suited me, I am too girly…and saved some money in return!
